When we created chilli&nala, we didn’t start with a product.
We started with two dogs.
One tiny toy Cavoodle with a love for luxury.
One sensitive American Staffy who needed comfort without compromising style.
Together, they inspired our mission to create a new category in Australia:

Meet Chilli — The Toy Cavoodle Who Inspired Our Luxury Dog Beds
Chilli, our toy Cavoodle, has always had impeccable taste.
Like many Cavoodles, she loves soft textures, cosy corners, and being close to her humans. But every dog bed we tried in our home felt like a compromise.
They were either:

• Covered in loud prints
• Or completely out of place in a modern home.
Our living room had beautiful furniture, neutral tones and designer coffee table books — yet every dog bed looked like something that belonged in a garage.
So Chilli inspired the first concept:
A luxury dog bed that feels like it belongs in a designer living room.
That idea became the chilli&nala Bouclé Pet Lounge — a designer dog bed made with premium bouclé fabric, inspired by high-end furniture found in luxury homes.
It wasn’t just a dog bed.
It became a piece of dog furniture.

Nala — The American Staffy Who Inspired Our European Collection
Where Chilli loves softness and elegance, Nala the American Staffy brought a completely different energy.
Sensitive. Playful. Athletic.
Nala needed durability, structure and support — but we still wanted her accessories to look luxury, not utilitarian.
That’s where the European-inspired collection was born.
Inspired by Mediterranean summers and luxury travel, Nala led the creation of our designer dog harness sets, including:
